The property was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Costa Brava region. What truly stood out was Xevi's exceptional hospitality. He showed genuine care for our comfort and well-being throughout our stay and and took extra effort to accommodate our requests. His kindness and attention made a real difference. Thanks to Xevi's warm and attentive hosting, we felt completely at home and were able to enjoy a relaxed and memorable stay. Positive: Sweet, tidy little house near the sea. Decent aircon/heating and WiFi. Xevi is a friendly, attentive host. Nearby Begur is a lovely place. The coastline is beautiful. There are nice beaches and towns a short drive away.

Negative: The steepness of the locality is very challenging if, like my mum, you have mobility issues, so be aware of that. Even the beaches are down steep steps and that limited our experience unfortunately. The area is purely for tourist accommodation, yet there are no shops, cafes, coffee shops or independent restaurants within pleasant walking distance, so you have to use the car and drive up steep, winding roads. For that reason we found the locality quite boring. Parking would be an issue in season. We were pleased it was quiet when we went because the house terrace is directly overlooked by apartments. Not quite what we were expecting. The house would benefit from more comfortable seating for a group and the mattresses are hard.

Positive: Amazing location. Xevi super helpful and welcoming and cheerfully stayed up late when our flight was delayed!

Negative: The upstairs mattress on the bed was a bit hard for us. Everything else good.

Summary: Absolutely loved Fornells and lying in bed hearing the sea was gorgeous.
