Positive: Not so bad location - close to supermarket and in 30 min you can walk to the center or to the aquarium. The sea is very far away, and the public transportation is very bad here (10 min taxi or 70 min public transport) It was pretty clean

Negative: The communication is very difficult, we did not know how to check in, they forgot what we agreed, we had to go there 2 until we could check in, and made almost 10 phone calls (with to little kids). There was no communication about the check out, and the host didnt reply to my messages The apartment is max for two people, in the living room you cannot sleep because of the street light and noise coming in and the sofa was very very uncomfortable. There is only two chairs and no table at all! It was cold, the door could bot be opened however there is a hole between the door and the floor. There is only one AC in the living room, nothing in the bathroom or the bedroom. Kitchen is so-so, the coffee machine was only a moka

Positive: One could tell that the apartment was recently refurbished which was nice.

Negative: 1. The apartment’s door was straight into the street. It felt very awkward to walk from the street into the apartment. It seemed like the place used to be a garage turned into an apartment. 2. The 20 Euro check-in fee. We arrived at 9 pm and were asked to pay 20 euros to check in at that time. I didn’t see this information when I booked so we were very disappointed. Also, having booked many properties throughout Europe through booking, this fee came as a complete surprise because it is so uncommon to pay for check-in. Usually properties come with a self-check in or some other type of solution. 3. No information about checkout. I contacted the booking about where to leave the keys for checkout through Booking but had no response. Then I contacted the property through WhatsApp and finally got a response. It just felt like too much work when I was supposed to be on vacation. All this could have been avoided with an information sheet for guests (ideally in English not just Spanish). 4. Not enough toilet paper. Usually properties leave a storage of toilet paper in case visitors need more. 5. The bathroom had a weird smell and whenever we’d take a shower there’d be water overflowing the bathroom floor due to drainage. 6. We could see how the apartment was in, what seemed to be, a safe neighborhood. There were also nice places/neighborhoods reasonably close. However, it took very long to walk to the city center (about 35-40 minutes). The location was rated a 10 when we booked it so maybe our expectations were too high. 7. There has to be some type of communication in English. When we checked in (a service for which we paid 20 euros), the person who gave us the key did not speak in English at all. We spoke/understood a bit of Spanish and then used Google translate to make sure we understood each other. Thankfully, we had access to internet data, but we can see how this might be a problem for someone who does not.
