As you enter Bwthyn Branwen - pronounced 'Booth-in Bran-when', a spacious hallway greets you, perfect for dropping off beach bags and muddy boots. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is beautifully furnished with a sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV, and a dining table for four. The kitchen, set along one wall, is fully equipped for all your meal preparation needs. The downstairs bedroom can be configured as a twin or single for additional wheelchair space, and the bathroom is fully wheelchair accessible, featuring a shower, washbasin, and toilet.
Upstairs, you'll find a large double bedroom with a king-size bed and its own en suite shower room. This private space is perfect for relaxation and comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
Outside the property, there is a small garden area where you can enjoy the fresh air, there is also a communal BBQ area. Summary: Lovely two weeks stay basically everything was great just some minor things could make it better: Add a shaving mirror over the sink in the downstairs bathroom. We stayed with three dogs and after two weeks the vacuum cleaner wasn't very good at getting the dog hairs up off the carpet. We had difficulty finding the laundry as the sign was no longer over the door.

Summary: The accommodation is very comfortable for a stay on Anglesey. The near-beach location is ideal for dog walkers and we find it very convenient to access all the island without travelling too far. The kitchen is well stocked for utensils and the beds are comfy. It must be good as we've been coming for 20 years or so and have booked again already for next year!

Summary: A nicely presented property with easy access to coastal path and gorgeous long beach. Although the kitchen and living room are a bit small for four adults and two dogs it is manageable and reflected in the price. The downstairs bedroom is also quite small but not a show stopper and the downstairs wet room a reasonable size. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are very nice and cosy. Lovely white fluffy towels and a comfy bed. A couple of minor observations: The downstairs bathroom door doesn’t shut properly and has no lock. Drying clothes on a wet rainy day is difficult. We put ours on the clothes horse in the hallway but there is no heating in this area so they didn’t really dry off and there is no space anywhere else to hang them. The latch on the garden gate is stiff and difficult to operate, but I wouldn’t let these points put you off booking this tidy property and I would certainly return.

Summary: Stayed in Bwthyn Branwen in September. This is not the first time we have used Anglesey Holiday Lettings so I already had great expectations on this little cottage. It did not disappoint. I stayed with my Mum and our two dogs. It was just the right size for us both. Mum opted for the downstairs bedroom with the twin beds, with the gorgeous bathroom next door. I stayed in the double bed upstairs. Wow, it was lovely. Such a comfy bed and the bathroom was amazing. Gorgeous views from the windows too. Downstairs the lounge was nice a cosy. TV was on the small side and we did try to log into my Netflix but didn't work. Our entertainment was saying hello to the sheep outside the lounge window!!! Kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. The cottage we stayed in was part of a complex of several cottages. We have actually booked again to go next year but staying in one of the other cottages. The location for us was perfect. Only a small shop and a pub in the village but a beautiful beach on the doorstep and lots of great walks - including the walk down to The Church in the Sea - gorgeous for sunsets!! Can't wait to return in September next year :)

Summary: Had a brilliant few days in this cottage, we were so lucky with the weather and the walk down the estuary leads to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We used the charger for our car without any issues, cannot think of anything negative about the cottage perfect for us, we have booked again for 2025 to explore North Wales further.

Summary: This is the second time that we’ve stayed at the property for our summer holidays. It’s perfect for us (a family of three, though the property sleeps four). It is lovely and clean, has two gorgeous bathrooms-really handy when everyone gets home from the beach and has an electric car charge point which is always available. It’s close to the beach and coastal path in Aberffraw, so you can do some lovely walks or runs right from your doorstep. Newborough beach is nearby and Trearddur is just up the road. I’d highly recommend Bythwn as a place to stay!

Summary: The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable; the condition of the worktop and nest of tables would prevent top marks all round. The staff were helpful and friendly and the on-site cafe was a big plus. With the pub in Aberffraw now closed, this left just the local shop as a nearby amenity - but that worked well for papers and other provisions. The 2 circular walks based on the location are excellent as is the Oyster Catcher (a short drive away) for excellent evening meals - but do book! Waking up and seeing sheep grazing right next to the lounge window makes a change for anyone coming to holiday from an urban setting!

Summary: A really nice cottage; good customer service from the agency too. Clean and relatively new appliances and comfortable stay. The heating did struggle to cope at times; heat exchangers are known for this unless a property is completely draught free. Would go again and recommend to others.
