Positive: Great location, lovely room and beautiful little swim pool (with pool trainer!)

Negative: My car was taken in a lift to an underground garage which they were refusing to operate in the early morning so I could get to the port for my ferry. I had to threaten to pack up and leave the hotel the night before in order for the staff to think of a viable plan (which ultimately was easy). Also, the gym was the hottest one I had ever been it. It was not designed for actual training and there was no AC.

Positive: Our room was very neat, nicely furnished with a small glass walled bathroom which was functional, had all the amenities and lots of hot water. The two gentlemen manning the front desk were friendly, super efficient and helpful. The hotel has very secure private parking on a lift system which is always useful in a city.

Negative: Our room, although soundproofed was right outside the double lifts : it always appears to me that Booking customers get the less favourable rooms - because the soundproofing was sufficient this wasn't a problem in this hotel but it often is. Considering the number of guests who either use Booking as a service or reference guide hotels like Best Western (BW) might consider this.

Positive: Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was bright, clean, quiet and well equipped. The breakfast was also lovely. Superb location, only a few minutes walk from the train station.
