Summary: Hotel was great, clean and quiet. Staff was super friendly a d helpful. Would be nice to have an ice machine available. Would have liked to try the restaurant but very limited times open. Heard there used to be an awesome bar on site, would have loved to check that out. Great stay other than that!

Summary: I love to stay at the Bush House Inn while traveling along Highway 2. Index is a really wonderful place with amazing history and you’ll wake up surrounded by mountains and the Index Wall. The Inn has charming rooms with very comfortable beds and linens. This is an experience for people who want to stay in a beautifully renovated historic building and enjoy a quiet and calm atmosphere. They do have an elevator on site to the second floor. The second floor great room is a community space with comfy leather sofa seating and a television but it’s also a wonderful space for reading or playing games or puzzles. There is an upper level sun deck and a wonderful front porch as additional relaxing spaces. The restaurant offers a wonderful Northwest selection for every palate and there is a bar and coffee shop (serves breakfast pastries and hot items) on site, as well. The shared bathrooms are always wonderfully appointed with extra shower soaps and exceptionally pressured hot water. I don’t know this for a fact but I think the floors are also heated? There are several trains (Amtrak included) that go by through the night so if you are a very light sleeper I would suggest earplugs for restful sleep. Again, this is a historic building in a town with rich history. If you get a chance to visit the area and you want to experience something special, I can’t recommend Bush House Inn enough. (Book Room 8 for the best morning views!)

Summary: Our stay was incredible! This is one of our favorite experiences that we have had. The hotel is absolutely adorable, wonderful staff, great amenities, and just the most lovely weekend stay while we skied at Stevens Pass. We give 5 stars all around! Highly recommend!

Summary: Beautiful and cozy Inn! The shared bathroom was not a problem as I was the only one using it as other reviewers pointed out. It was a really nice and clean bathroom. I knew about the train noise and there were a few that went by until 12am and then one at 4am. If the Inn offered a noise machine or earplugs that would go a long way. My room (#2) was also facing the tracks so that didn't help. When I checked in, I was told there would be coffee and pastries available at 8am, but the young lady at the register first told me there were no pastries on Fridays then perhaps because I looked puzzled, she corrected herself to say that she had not yet put them in the oven. Oh well. Nonetheless she made a really tasty latte! I would consider staying here again.

Summary: Very clean and cozy room. I stayed in the room with the private bath and big tub. I think I was in room 5 and I could hear the person next to me coughing throughout the night. It was an adjoining room and the sound just pours right in. It was pretty frustrating. Just a warning to my fellow lite sleepers! The staff was great, the food was average. Overall a pretty great stay besides the noise from next door.
