Newly remodeled 2200 sq ft home with a Year around Million dollar view and fantastic sunsets. Plenty of space for a family vacation.Boat hoist available, please ask for details to add on this benefit. Our Burt Lake home offers three large size bedrooms and two full baths. Main floor has a master bedroom with a king bed and bathroom. I have found pretty good Cell phone/data coverage for Verizon/ATT plans. The wooded area behind the cabin nearby offers several walking trails and our place is just Minutes by car from Burt Lake State Park and the town of Indian River. Enjoy Boating, fishing, swimming, or exploring the chain of lakes. We are not far from the entrance of Indian River right on Burt Lake and you can take your boat to visit crooked lake or Mullett Lake. Come see why my family loves this place and sit by the campfire and watch the sunset. Perfect family fun on Burt Lake. ATV Access for ice fishing is only a block away.

Summary: We stayed at this property with my parents, husband and 7 year old daughter. The house layout was perfect and spacious for my parents who have limited mobility. There is a bedroom on the ground floor with a full bath directly across so they never needed to go the stairs. The bedrooms upstairs are very spacious and comfortable with a nice large full bath in between. The main level furnishings we’re comfortable with multiple seating/reclining options inside and plenty of seating outside both on the covered deck and overlooking the lake in the uncovered decking area. For a family with a younger child- it was nice that she could get in the water right in front of the property and we didn’t have to worry about it being to rough or deep. I will say- bring your water shoes as there isn’t really any sandy areas outside or inside the water in front, and it was a bit difficult to move around in the water barefoot. Overall- we loved this property. Host was extremely prompt with communication, property was very well maintained, and well located (close to town and Burt Lake State park was only a 10 minute drive).

Summary: We’ve rented several cottages in Indian River and this one was definitely one of our favorites. Gorgeous view of the lake. Clean, newly renovated home with lots of room. Super close to hiking trail for long walks. Owner was very attentive and accommodating. We especially liked the little extras, like specialty coffees and clean linens.

Summary: This lake house was amazing. Beautiful sunsets and a great fire pit on a picturesque lake. You won’t want to spend any time indoors, but when you do, you’ll have the most incredible views and be able to enjoy a warm, welcoming cabin. It was even a wonderful setup for our two small children. They loved playing on the rocks in the lake and running around the beautiful backyard. The owner was so helpful, checking in with us right after arrival and right before checkout to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Thanks again, Don! We hope to be able to stay again next year!

Summary: Beautiful location. Clean and very tastefully decorated. The wicker rocking chairs on the deck got a workout every day! The owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was everything we wanted and needed. Thank you for a great vacation.

Summary: This house was perfect for our family. The sunsets alone made this house worth every penny. The house was great place to unplug and just enjoy nature and time with family. The house did not offer cable or wifi, which for us was fine, but I could see how some would say it needs it if the weather is not cooperating. The town itself lacked restaurant options but the few we did come across where pretty good. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who just wants to get away and relax!

Summary: This lake house is a perfect family getaway. The home is located on a quiet road that lends itself to morning walks. The trails close by also were enjoyable to explore. Our days were split between spending time on the spacious deck enjoying the amazing views of the lake and being down on the water. The deck furniture is super comfortable. There’s also a 6 person dining table with an umbrella for dinners outside or to enjoy a game of cards. The dock provides good space for a group to sit and there are 2 chaise lounge chairs that are at the end of the dock. Morning coffee and lazy afternoon naps were too good to pass up at this spot. Additional chairs are provided by the owner to bring down to the dock. The home is very clean. The living space has a nice relaxed vibe to it. The kitchen has all of the essential necessities and the 3 bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned. The town is only a few miles away which made for convenient trips to the grocery, restaurants and for ice cream. Don, the owner, was super responsive to any questions that we had during our stay. This house is what “up north” vacations are all about.
