Positive: We organised our annual Clan Christmas weekend at this wonderful property and it was so welcoming and spacious. Easy to find, self-check in, everything that was needed was provided. Heating worked well. Parking available for 5-6 cars. Amazing value for money. And dog friendly! Great river walks! We will definitely be back!

Positive: what a fantastic old house, everything you could need is supplied, loved the Aga for cooking, beds were absolutely amazing, great sleep had by all 10 of us adults

Negative: Its an old house so some of the smells were just that, but that wouldn't stop me staying again. bit out the way but that's what we wanted, a short walk to village will get you a bus to town centre if you don't want to drive

Positive: The location was absolutely stunning with several really amazing walks nearby. Would highly recommend Crichope Linn gorge walk which the hosts recommended to us upon arrival. The house was spotless when we turned up and the hosts were great, even coming out to assist us early one morning when we couldn't get the oven to work (our own stupidity, the oven worked fine). For the price it was an amazing deal, can't recommend highly enough.
