Positive: Property was full of character and history . Really well kept and maintained . Facilities are excellent and as a small number of rooms service is very personal . On our first night we had dinner with other guests in the outdoor location . It was fantastic We were concerned after first booking this as no recent reviews but we had no need to be . The place is lovely and with excellent facilities that includes an honesty bar by the pool . Our room was lovely and the whole place has been lovingly restored by the family and it very much has that family feel . We used the place as somewhere we could then travel and explore the area from and you definitely need a car . The entrance up to the Villas is very narrow and steep and if you are going into town by foot you need to be prepared for a steep climb. The town has a number of good restaurants and options for grabbing a drink If you are looking for somewhere small, personal and very authentic then this might be for you but if you want the services of a large hotel then this definitely not for you We had a great time and made to feel very welcome by the family and the staff . The rooms and grounds are very well maintained and we enjoyed time around the pool and the bar on an evening
Negative: Property located above the town and the drive up there is via is very narrow road . We didn’t attempt the walk into town but other guests did
Summary: Loved our stay in this beautiful location and home

Positive: BELLA! The Burlamacchi Villas were absolutely beautiful. We were very well take care of, we highly recommend staying in and with this family atmosphere.
Negative: I wish we had booked a taxi from the train as the walk up from the train was very taxing so I recommend car or pre-addressing a car

Positive: It is a fantastic place. Wonderful rooms, the whole space is unique. Very good food - breakfasts and especially dinners are unforgettable. The waiter will advise wine. On top of that, there is exceptional music. You will remember it for a long time.
Negative: Parking information. The booking.com says that there is a parking lot, but at the same time the hotel says that there may not be enough space. In September, there was a place. And then there is Francesca. Everyone writes how great she is. It's true, she is. Unfortunately, when you stop being a guest, Francesca loses interest in you. After leaving, I asked her about the name of the wine they served. To this day, I have not received an answer.
Summary: Wow! That's what you think when you show up there
