You will adore your stay at Bunya Springs as it is close to so many popular tourist destinations like Maleny, Montville, Noosa and all Sunshine Coast Beaches. It is 2kms from the Kenilworth Township, 1hr to picturesque Glasshouse Mountains and Australia Zoo, central to National Parks and State Forests, and 1hr and 45mins from Brisbane. Experience the relaxed feel of authentic country life - perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families alike.
Self-contained cottage with 2 separate bedrooms aimed to sleep 4 people comfortably; queen in the main bedroom and 2 x singles in the 2nd bedroom. Fully equipped country kitchen complete with oven, sink, big fridge, microwave - almost everything you have at home and could possibly need on holidays. Adjoining dining room looking out the bay window, lounge room with TV, soothing electric fireplace heater, and a wrap-around timber veranda to help you kick back, draw in the clean country air and gaze out over the Bunya Pines.
The cottage is fully self contained with its own carport and sits away from the main homestead within its very own paddock. Guests are free to explore the property on foot however some limitations do apply in terms of access to homestead, use of campfire facilities and interaction with animals - see house rules for further info. We would like our guests to feel at home at Bunya Springs and to immerse themselves in country life, and we also care very much for their safety during their stay.
We don't think we are at all biased when we say Kenilworth is a perfect town and a perfect place to get away from it all. You can be as close to everything and as far away as you like; no matter what your interests, hobbies, aspirations or inspirations may dictate - you will find it either here or just up the road. Kenilworth is deliciously positioned at the centre of Queenslands Sunshine Coast - an hour and a half from Brisbane and 45 minutes inland from all the beautiful Sunny Coast beaches. There are so many things to do that you may just have to lie back in the hammock for a few days just to decide which adventure you will start with first!
If you are arriving at Bunya Springs by car then you will find your own covered carport adjoining the cottage and you are free to come and go as you please at any time of the day or night. If you are requiring assisted/public transport during your stay do let us know and we can walk you through your options.

Summary: We attended a family wedding in the area and decided to make a weekend of it. Bunya springs was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable with lovely views over their property. Seeing the animals was nice too. Would be perfect for a young family. We would love to go back again as a central place to explore the area.

Summary: We had such a relaxing time at this property. Our toddler enjoyed running in the paddock and meeting the friendly sheep, horses and cows. We enjoyed the beautiful veranda to have our morning coffee in the morning and sundowner drinks. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a quiet weekend. Thanks for having us!

Summary: What an amazing stay. Lesley & Stewart were very accommodating hosts. The cottage was beautiful with the perfect little touches. We loved seeing the sheep & the baby lambs were super cute. The horses were stunning, calming and we loved giving them pats. We left feeling very relaxed. As 3 mums we definitely needed this trip. We will be visiting again.

Summary: Very well kept cottage and obliging owners Lesley & Stewart who helped us out after the storm last Saturday as we lost power and water until Sunday morning however we were very comfortable for the time we stayed. A lovely location for peace and quiet. Thanks very much Christine & Nigel

Summary: Highly enjoyable break from our city life. Kids thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals. Such a relaxing location, can just feel your tension leaving your body. Just a short drive to the town centre and close drive to lots of great walks. House has everything you need and we loves the wood fire pit outside to have a good chat and enjoy the lovely night sky. Stewart and Lesley also run the pizzeria in town. Super yummy, must try! Thoroughly enjoyed our short break and we will be back!! Kids say hi to Scar!
