Summary: Went to the Montelo area fir a quick winter week-end Supper Club getaway, this lake house looked nice...but it is better than nice! They need better pictures to truly capture just how n8ce, clean and all new this home is...very impressed, would stay again for sure

Summary: Pluses: Communications with the owner were good, even though they were overseas at the time, they replied much quicker than I would have thought. The place was extremely clean! Kudos to their cleaning staff. Kitchen had everything needed. All appliances worked great. Bathrooms sparkled. Towels a plenty which you rarely see. Grill outside also cleaned and ready to go. Started right up with the touch of the button. Beds were very comfortable, no issues. Minuses: The property was advertised as a 'lake property'. while it is on water, would be tough to classify it as a 'lake'. More like a grassy area that has some water in it. There were grass and things growing out of the lake all over. Didn't see a single boat, not sure they would be able to maneuver in the shallow waters. I understand the owners have no control over this, but maybe should be disclosed in some form or fashion. Fire pit was nice, but wood was stacked all the way on the other side of the property. Would be nice if you didn't have to make several trips back and forth to bring the wood over. Also, no kindling was provided. Worse part was after we got everything all ready, there didn't appear to be any matches or lighters (at least that we could find). Ended up not being able to use the fire pit the first nice and had to drive in to Montello to buy a lighter. Would be nice if this was available on the property. There is a beautiful deck out back and also one off the master bedroom, but no chairs or tables.

Summary: The lake house was super cute, clean, well-organized, and kid-friendly. We throughly enjoyed our stay and being so close to the water.

Summary: Great inside space for 5 of us with a lot of amenities. Outdoor space was plentiful with room for games and playing around. Huge fire pit and beautiful lake view, especially the sunsets.
