Located on the lake's edge this tri-level home sits on Lake Budgewoi, a perfect spot for fishing, paddleboarding or simple going of a dunk! Our home offers 4 comfortable bedrooms, one with an ensuite and another with spectacular water views and study/sunroom. Enjoy the serine landscape or spectacular sunsets after a leisurely stroll or bike ride.

A generous, undercover varanda overlooks Lake Budgewoi and is perfect for group meals or BBQs. The space is well lit and includes a gas BBQ .

Used as a dedicated holiday home, our place has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, 2 bikes, paddle boards as well as indoor entertainment for young children such as boardgames and netflix. The top floor bedroom has a generous sunroom/study space for the guest needing to work while visiting. Complete with wifi and desk with chair, you will be inspired while your family make use of the rest of the home.

We are only a short stroll to the local shops/supermarket so your stay can be as active or as quiet as you need it.

Budgewoi's aboriginal name is appropriately named - "Meeting of Two Waters", meaning the ocean and the lake waters. Traditionally a fishing town, its humble beginnings are still evident by the presence of mid century fibro homes slowly being replaced by modern palatial residences overlooking the water, a perfect spot for retirement or a convenient get away. Located just over an hr from Sydney, Budgewoi offers a great option to get away from the huzzle and buzzle of Sydney and is ideal for large families, friends' gatherings or special occasions.

With a Coles sipermarket, bottle shop and cafe located only a 5 minute walk, you will not need to go far to enjoy our lovely home.

You can cycle from our place all the way to Lake Munmorah or take a leisurely stroll as you enjoy the sunset.

Local supermarket is only a 5 minute walk and if you're getting to our place via public transport, we recommend a train ride to Wyee train station, catch the B96 and then alight at Woolana Ave, opposite Delia Ave.

If you are driving we have a carport at the front of our house, but there is also plenty of street parking.

Summary: The property is ideally situated on the lake front. with a pathway for walking and or cycling. The house had several areas for sitting and relaxing so that we never felt crowded with 5 adults 2 children and two dogs. We made use of all the amenities. Rode the bikes, Kayaked had long walks beside the lake and snoozed on the lounges. The only complaint we had was the roosters two houses down that crowed at 5.30am and a neighbor that played his music a little too loud for our liking, neither of which stopped us having a very enjoyable Christmas.

Summary: The house is large and clean and beautiful right on the lake. Wonderful sunsets, and very relaxing. And it is pet friendly so we could bring our dog, and my sisters family could bring their dog too.
