Positive: Very spacious, light apartment, in a very quiet location, but with some restaurants and supermarket 5-10 mins walk away, and very near to a bus stop with regular buses into Budapest (20 min journey). Secure parking round the back of the property and behind a locked gate. Tomas the owner was very helpful - with good communication on whatsapp. He lives nearby and was there to let me in and show me everything I needed, and was also also able to book me in for an extra night as my journey had been significantly delayed. He came specially to bring some extra pillowcases.

Negative: The fridge could have done with being emptied and cleaned before I arrived. The shower head holder was only at about waist high, so had to hold it above my head. Only a single duvet provided, though it was a double bed.

Positive: Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay at Budakeszi, public transportation is well organised, there are busses to Budapest every few minutes and the buss stop was close. The apartment was clean, well prepared for us, communication with the owner was always fast and responsive and the apartment was easy to find. Heating was good, apartment was way bigger than we anticipated from the pictures, and it fulfilled our expectations. We would definitely recommend this host and would stay with them again !

Negative: There wasn't many problems so these are mostly minor things: One evening the heating didnt work, it uses a gas boiler which was displaying some kind of error, but the fix was easy, just turning it off and on again. We never actually met the owner in person (some would even prefer it that way), but we managed to communicate well on the phone, and everything was as he said. There is a vet ambulance at the bottom of the same building, but we almost never heard any noise or anything so it wasn't a problem for us.

Positive: Very large and clean apartment. with garden and parking in a quiet street in a suburb of Budapest, but well connected to the city centre by public transport. Bus stops 100m from the apartment every 2-3 minutes and the dride to the city centre takes only 20 min . For a perfect score of 10 it lacks a microwave in the kitchen and furniture in the living room.
