Positive: Excellent location very central in Groningen. Good value for money, although described as a hostel, the room was actually like a basic hotel room with 2 twin beds (as we requested) and our own bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Expensive for a hostel but the quality was that of a basic hotel room so in that sense it was good value.

Negative: A bit noisy at night with people coming in late and making noise, but this can happen anywhere in any hotel or hostel, especially on a Saurday night.

Negative: Few technical issues (the window was not closing, the bathroom ventilator did not function). It would be good to state the size of the parking discount clearly for those traveling by car (instead of 25 one pays 22.5 per day).

Positive: Very very friendly staff that was very accommodating and flexible. Good, tiny room, with a comfortable bed and everything you need to explore the city. Location is superb!

Negative: A bit tricky to find. Shower could be better.

Positive: The private double room was great, private bathroom small but overall excellent for the price. Comfortable beds, bedding, pillows. Great location. No issues with sound either.

Negative: Not much of a vibe at all compared to other hostels but clean, organised, practical, well-located and very affordable.

Positive: Love that there are also a toilets/showers in the hallways it gave that extra privacy to my group of friends. It’s a 2mins walk to the bars! (Groningen is the very best place to go out in The Netherlands) Eierballen!!!!!!!
