Positive: Central location to Ubud, welcoming and friendly staff... very comfortable traditional Balanise villa with private palmed garden and plunge pool. We found it very safe and secure. It was my birthday and we requested the floating breakfast and they also gave me a chocolate birthday cake and coconut drinks each with our breakfast... could not fault presentation and attention to detail. Highly recommend for honeymoon couples or romantic stay in Ubud.

Negative: The steps are quite steep on entrance lane and up to the patio of the villa so may not suit elderly ppl with mobility issues.. we found it easy to navigate the stairs however we are fit 70 year olds...

Positive: Great location walking-distance from Main Street. The pool was very refreshing.

Negative: The steps down to the villas were very high making it difficult to transport luggage. Staff were great at hauling our bags.

Positive: The villa was incredible traditional built, the detail was amazing in every wood carving. The bath was a delight especially in the afternoon with a wine in hand, and of course the Airconditiong and pool was a great reprieve on the hot days. The staff was so accommodating assisting booking tours and even massages at the villa which was a treat. Definitely get the breakfast included when booking was a delight in the mornings to sit outside and enjoy our breakfast in the rainforest.

Negative: Payment was an issue after we asked many times if we needed to pay in person and were told it would be charged online to later, after we left to be sent a payment link and slapped an extra $20 service fee. It is also a little bit of a walk to town but only 15 minutes.

Positive: Cannot recommend this villa enough. The staff was so amazing and friendly and made us feel like royalty. They accommodated our schedule with breakfast and lunch and kept the rooms clean every day. You need to stay here.

Negative: There a lot of bugs around but you’re in the jungle so that’s to be expected. Other than that everything was perfect

Positive: The property is located at only 10min walk from Ubud center;you have a few stairs to get to it,but the staff will help you carry your baggage;it is close to everything and at the same time private enough;the pool was great,great view,peaceful sounds from the jungle can be heard day and night; BF is great also, you have a few options to chose from and the portions are quite big; the staff is nice and welcoming; i recommend it -mainly due to its location
