Positive: This was our second stay at Brylach; this time in the delightful Coachman’s Cottage. We had the warmest welcome from Lou and the cottage was just as beautifully presented as The Bothy, on the opposite side of the courtyard, where we stayed previously. Everything about this place is gorgeous - the view, the decor and the carefully chosen furniture. The fluffiest of fluffy towels make you think you are in a boutique hotel, rather than self catering! Loved the little tipple and shortbread. We are already looking forward to another visit later this month.
Negative: Not a single thing to improve!
Summary: A gorgeous hidden gem in a beautiful setting.

Positive: Brylach Steading is a very peaceful place to stay, with top-quality furnishings throughout. It was exceptionally clean, and everything we needed was provided. Lou and Jan were so friendly and welcoming and genuinely cared about our experiences being there. It was so interesting to learn about the history of the place and their plans for the future. I would highly recommend Brylach Steading to anyone visiting the Moray Coast. I would go as far as saying this was the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in!
Negative: Nothing negative to say at all.

Positive: This is a stunning place. The history of the Steading and the setting makes it feel timeless. We stayed in the Hayloft and it was by far the cleanest and comfiest accommodation we have ever booked. The attention to detail and high end quality of bedding, towels and products makes the experience a first class one. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay exceptional and their customer service and care is top class. A very friendly couple who immediately made us feel relaxed. We will most definitely be back. Thank you We had a well deserved break 🥰

Positive: We have been to this location before and always liked it. This time there were new owners, and we were very satisfied with them as well. We also stayed in a different cottage this time, and we liked that one very much too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on, although we Dutch often find them on the short side. The bedrooms were larger than you find in many cottages. We consider it a wonderful base for exploring Speyside. The owners also live on the property and are easily reachable if you have any questions; they are happy to share their tips on what to find in the area.
Negative: The only thing we didn't like about the cottage was the sofa, which was too low for our taste. The owners have already indicated that they intend to replace it. We also couldn't find any regular TV channels. However, you can access various apps via the internet, so we didn't really miss the TV.
Summary: We are happy that Brylach Steading has remained just as nice a place under the new owners.

Positive: The accomodation was incredibly dog friendly, with pets being thought about rather than being an inconvenient addition. The rooms were big and beds were comfy, everything was beaurifully clean. Check-in and check-out was very simple. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils so we cooked twice in the cottage. Louise our host was very friendly and welcoming and easy to contact if we had any questions. Some complimentary whiskey and dog biscuits along with some milk and tea and coffee were lovely additions. The location is beautiful, ideal for exploring Speyside. It is off the main road so very quiet and there are some nice areas to exercise and toliet dogs outside the accomodation. If we are back in the Speyside area we will definitely be staying here again!

Positive: Well equipped, luxurious, and extremely comfortable. Thoughtfully supplied with spices, teas, coffees & fresh milk, card games, books and local information available in the bookcase in the living area. Kitchen was well equipped with crockery and utensils. Internet tv, Google play linked to Google hubs. USB & USB C plugs available in the main living area and bedroom. Loved the rain shower, and plenty of hot water, and the motion sensor bathroom light and the barn style bathroom door. On the ground floor there is a washing machine in the cupboard under the stairs. The bed room is spacious and the bed dreamily comfortable ( pillows like clouds).
Negative: There wasn’t anything not to like.
Summary: Can’t wait to visit again!

Positive: What a place !!!! Myself and my husband have stayed in numerous airbhb/rental accommodation all over the world. Nothing matches this! When we arrived we were met by Louise, such a lovely, friendly lady, who explained everything about the accommodation. What can I say about the accommodation....... Fabulous, 5 stars. The decor is so charming, straight out of House Beautiful magazine. Let's start at the bedroom, serene and stylish, the linen was high quality, mattress so comfortable. The bathroom is exceptional, towels as thick as my arm, shower powerful and immaculate. The kitchen had EVERYTHING. Beautiful crockery, microwave, oven, high end wine/whisky/juice glasses, real high quality pans and trays, nothing chipped or cheap. All cleaning and clearing products provided Jars of spices, tea. coffee, sugar, milk (in a cute glass bottle) provided - EVEN 2 whisky shorts with authentic whisky glasses provided. The extra delight for us were the treats provided for our dogs. We had a bed with 2 cosy rugs, treats and bowls. We also had private access to an adjacent huge field for our dogs to run off lead, our dogs loved it. WOW! What a place.. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Go for it, treat yourself xxx
