Summary: The room was clean, and the hotel’s location was excellent. Unfortunately, we had problems with the heating in our room. We reported the issue to the front desk in the evening, but nothing was done. The room’s normal heating system (underfloor heating) was not working, so the room was extremely cold. The front desk told us that we could use the emergency radiator, but once we turned it on, the room became uncomfortably hot. We ended up having to switch it off in the middle of the night. We brought the issue up again at check-out, and we were told that the hotel would follow up with us by email. However, we have not received any communication from the hotel since then.

Summary: The room was excellent. The location was amazing. This was the anchor stay for a five day trip through the Lofoten Islands. Because it was a Sunday during the shoulder season, we “checked in” via a box with our key in an envelope. This was actually really easy. The individual room we stayed in, room 10 above the restaurant was great. There was a sink in the room, but we had to use a shared shower. This wasn’t bad at all. The shared bathroom was very clean. I don’t think there were many other guests. The weather leading up to our stay was cloudy and pouring rain with rain gusts up to 50 mph. Luckily, it cleared up shortly before 8pm and we were able to catch the aurora. It was amazing! Great location, great place, and great views!
