Positive: The full English was just perfect. All you could want was included, beautifully cooked and presented. Set you up for a good walk😉 The porridge was superb. Cream as an extra touch did nothing for the waistline but everything for the tastebuds.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike.

Summary: Delightful country cottage property. Beautifully clean and comfy. Just the perfect break we needed.

Positive: Spotlessly clean, fruit and biscuits lovely touch and Andrew the host was very welcoming. Lovely comfy bed and lovely breakfast in the morning too.

Negative: Room very small with tiny bathroom. Entrance to car park too tight if you have a big car which we did but we were able to park on the main road in front of the guest house.

Summary: Lovely stay and Andrew the boat was attentive and breakfast was lovely.

Positive: Good location for what we wanted; Very clean; good touches (eg toiletries, fruit and biscuits) Excellent quality breakfast. Very friendly host.

Negative: Room and bathroom were a little on the small size- but bed very comfortable.

Positive: Very centrally located in the old heart of the village and close to the two main options for dinner. Excellent breakfast options. Its always nice to be provided with fresh milk without asking. Although I did not buy any, it was nice touch to have wine and beer bottles available on an "honesty" basis.

Negative: Nothing of consequence. It was not a problem for me but the narrow side entrance to the rear carpark is not for the feint-hearted

Positive: The B&B was in the perfect location for our stay, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. The little touches made it extra special - fresh fruit in the room, a mini fridge and the honesty bar. Breakfast was outstanding - so much choice including lots of vegan options ❤️ we were full for the day after we’d eaten! (The veggie sausages were the best at we’ve ever had) The B&B is run by Andrew who we cannot fault at all - he made the stay absolutely perfect! We will 100% recommend anyone wanting to visit this part of the world to stay at Brunswick House and we will definitely be back

Positive: Glorious setting, friendly welcome, super comfy bed, a good dinner at a restaurant next door and a memorable breakfast - ticked every box for an overnight stay on our way back south from Scotland and I didn't even mention the welcoming lounge and honesty bar!

Negative: The narrow archway entrance to the car park at rear requires a steady nerve for drivers of anything above medium-sized, but there's plenty of free public parking close by.
