Positive: Gordon, my host, was very attentive. He made a nice breakfast each day. Although the place was in the suburb of Brunswick, it was only a 25-minute tram ride from central Melbourne.

Negative: I think the listing could have made it a bit more clear that the accommodation was an upstairs bedroom in a townhouse. Although Gordon was very generous in welcoming me into his downstairs space, the upstairs bedroom and bathroom were the only "private" space. As such, the rental seemed more like an Airbnb to me.

Positive: Loved my stay at Brunswick B&B. The large bedroom with very comfortable bed, heating, cooling and a good size bathroom meant I had everything I needed to sleep really well. All beautifully maintained. The location is lovely-a special part of Melbourne with quiet shady streets next to Merri Creek and with Ceres organic cafe and community gardens close by. And all an easy tram ride into the city centre.

Summary: An extremely comfortable stay in a special part of Melbourne.

Positive: The property was located in a wonderful place in Melbourne. It was right near the community garden, park and health food store and restaurant in the Ceres community center. It is in walking distance from so much. The room and bathroom at Brandon’s house was extremely comfortable.

Negative: All was terrific.
