Positive: The location was nice with a beautiful view. We got to go to all the places we wanted to from Portree. Goggle maps can lead you to a different spot but the owner is on site and answers the phone.

Negative: Could have used a pod coffee pot and a night light in the bathroom but there was not much other than that.

Positive: This cottage was so cute - comfortable for a family of four with an unbeatable view of the bay in Portree. It’s in the city but just on the edge of downtown enough to feel like a haven from the bustle of the city. It’s walkable to the main town square and tourist area (maybe not with toddlers), but we were also able to find parking in the downtown area. Being able to do laundry was great and the host was so kind and helpful. The kitchen - and whole house - was well equipped for our stay. The house was easy to find, too. We loved sitting in the living room and watching the sun rise in particular. Everything is so close on the island that we were able to base here and do day trips out to Dunvegan and Uig easily. We felt so lucky to book this place and will definitely plan to book it again on our next visit!

Positive: Brook Cottage is such a lovely place to stay! The view out the windows really is special! Beautifully clean, comfy beds, the loveliest host - everything you could possibly need for a home away from home! We had our two children with us and there was also a great selection of DVD’s to keep them happy at night. We loved it so much we extended our stay - would thoroughly recommend!
