Positive: Fabulous location with stunning views and close to nature. Lovely little village with pub,park and charity hub. Gorgeous comfortable house with loads of space,games room, hot tub, garden. Ideal for big family holiday.

Negative: Dishwasher needs update as a lot of time was spent rewashing when it failed to clean Because of the age of property no sound proofing only a problem because of age of children

Positive: The location was excellent with a nice pub only a mile away and a pleasant walk.

Negative: We were not informed that the it was a solid fuel fired Hot Tub and we arrived to find the tub empty and no fuel provided. Very disappointing and inconvenient.

Positive: The location is fantastic. The house is great. Everybody loved the games room.

Negative: There were no towels. Theere were no spare toilet rolls. The hot tub only worked with a wood supply which wasn't supllied, not the sort of thing that you can find on a Friday night. Please provide a stock of logs or don't advertise a hot tub. The shower head did not fit the wall fitting and kept coming adrift. The shower head itself was broken. The kitchen double socket that powers the microwave is damaged and needs replacing. Only one half of the toaster works. The garage/games room stinks of diesel

Summary: A great place that was let down by a number of small issues that could easily be solved.

Positive: The size of the house and the facilities were perfect for our family of 12. Big enough to not be on top of each other too. The hot tub was a lot of fun, despite the weather and the location and the views were spectacular and all in all probably one of the best family weekends we’ve had in a long time. We hope to make this a once a year gathering! Some of the reviews say it’s a little dated, but that adds to the charm and nostalgic feel. We had regular visits from the neighbouring cat who was very friendly but not allowed in the house. Plus a nice welcome from the random cows just passing by on a morning.

Negative: Can’t say there’s anything in particular. Maybe the oven could be looked at, as it took twice the time to cook our family dinners. But it didn’t ruin the experience.

Summary: Such a beautiful warm and friendly place, big enough for our family of 12.
