Positive: Very homely. Comfortable. Spacious. everything you needed was there. Loved the pictures and door stops especially.

Negative: Communication. Directions were very bad. There are several properties all called Britten House and we were not told which number was ours. We were not told that access to the property was through a courtyard off the main road and we were not given a code for the key safe outside the property. All these things should have been communicated to us before hand or at least on the day.

Positive: Stunning, spacious property. We had an amazing stay here. It met all our needs and more. It’s grand and beautiful. Lovely welcome pack on arrival is a really nice touch. All my party were very impressed and wish to come again in the future.

Positive: Beautiful interior, well equipped and comfortable. Location is great - a short (but up hill) walk into the market square in one direction and a couple of minutes walk to the river footpath in the other.

Negative: Not used to the lounge being looked into as it’s right on the pavement. NOT a big problem though.

Summary: Perfect base to relax when walking and exploring the local area.

Positive: Comfortable, very good location. Good quality fittings and furnishings. Heating easy to put on during a very wet week, and water lovely and hot. Nice to be able to wash and dry soaking clothes and gear.

Negative: Main oven on the right of the main cooker does not get very hot

Negative: Really needed that 2nd parking space as a place to meet friends- 1 of us got free parking, others had to pay
