Positive: Lovely place- rather close to Visby, but quiet and calm. Nice view close to the cabin. The cabin had everything necessary, nice kitchen, bathroom, and bed were comfortable. Outdoor space and terrasse was wonderful

Negative: The dining chairs and sofa were a little too small for two people, but really nothing we didnt like. A garbage sorting manual would have been nice

Summary: Wonderful- Madelaine was an excellent host - we felt welcome, despite draught on Gotland

Positive: We loved staying in Brissundsbyn! Although the cottage was as described it still managed to exceed our expectations. The bathroom and the kitchen were both clean and well equipped. The beds and bedding were all comfortable. The location was very practical since we were traveling by car. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Positive: We chose this accommodation because we wanted to try staying in a classic Swedish red house. The big plus was the great value for money. Picking up the keys at the mailbox was absolutely no problem. The little house is very cosy and sensibly furnished, we found everything we needed. It was a bit chilly and even in 2 days we couldn't get it to a comfortable temperature, but we definitely didn't freeze. The bathroom, on the other hand, was very pleasant, which we appreciated since we had to go into it via the outside access. The parking right next to the cabin was great. The planes that flew from the nearby airport were only audible during the day.

Negative: We were a bit surprised to find out that we had to pay extra for linen and towels, which we only found out on the day of arrival. The price was quite high so we decided to bring our own. We also had to pay extra for cleaning, but as we were there for only2 nights, we made basically no mess, so it was enough to do our own quick cleaning. When you average it out like that, you can see why the price is so low. The beach is not as close as it looks, only the view is close. The house is nicely lit with nice windows, but the blinds are only in the bedroom, so you can still see in through the other two windows, which was a bit annoying. But as far as I know, that's also part of Swedish culture.

Positive: Very cosy summer cottage with genuine Scandinavian style both exterior and interior. Very clean, good kitchenware. Comfortable bedding and nice terrace to spend evening with a berbecue

Negative: The cottage situated in straight line with a landing stripe of the airport nearby with quite numerous planes landing above our heads. We are used to sleeping with the windows open - the main road [149] situated no far than 50 m was a bit annoying. No direct access to the bathroom and WC.
