Summary: We loved this house. It is in immaculate shape and very well kept. Clean and easy to feel comfortable in. Loved the extra little details like shampoo and soaps in the bathrooms, new sponge in the kitchen sink, great bedding on the beds and extra throw blankets in the living room. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes. There wasn't any saran wrap/ziplocks available and it could probably use an extra spatula, but those were our only complaints! It is extremely close to the beach access and access to Ocean Drive so it is a like 5 minute walk from restaurants and coffee etc. Overall it is a lovely little house and we plan on staying again in the future!

Summary: Although there is no ocean view, a short walk up a wooden path takes you up hill to a wonderful view of the beaches and Haystack Rock. Our weather proved to be warm enough that we took beach chairs out and tanned ourselves from there. At night the benches at the end of the path were perfect for viewing the billions of stars in the sky. The Pelican Pub is a short walk on the beach from the rental, but an even shorter walk on a trail that goes behind the house. The home had a bath and bedroom for each of us who stayed there. We loved that and found the bedrooms to be very comfortable. There is a nice gas fireplace in the small living room that joins a small dining area. Lots of games to play. Bicycles in the garage. Cons: The tv’s proved to be the most frustrating part of our stay. A note said we would be charged $50 for any disconnected cords. We did not but can see why people try that. Tv would go out and then after a time come back on. Many things wrong with that. Don’t count on watching tv unless you have an AV person with you. WiFi worked good though. One bathroom has a perfectly round little hole that my friend found very suspicious and I wrote to the company about it and did not hear back. Stories of hidden cameras came to mind. May be a good explanation for that hole but it was curious. I’ve been arranging trips for me and my friends for years and there have always been issues of some kind that made our stay a bit less than perfect. This place pleased everyo.
