Summary: The house was perfect, Andy was easy to communicate with and offered advise on some hiking trailsThe view in the morning with a cup of coffee was perfect, even had a cruise ship sail by Saturday morning Got to see a Bald eagle, several loons and even a harbor seal all while sitting on the porchSome people talk about a smell when you first get there, yes we noticed it at first but once the ceiling fans were turned on it went away The only down size is the town of Lubec does not offer much in food, but we had planned on cooking several days, so we went to Eastport on night and made the trip over to Acadia 2 morning. The local IGA has a good selection to choose fromWe did do a puffin tour on day as well with a company called Acadia Puffin Cruise, if you wanting to do this the owner Tricia was great and very affordable

Summary: The property and views were so much better than expected! We especially enjoyed the wicker recliners on the deck for watching the sea life and tides. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was great. Easy into town yet very private. We enjoyed our time at Birch Point and the Lubec area. Maine is a favorite vacation spot, and we will certainly look to return if our travels bring us north again. Thank you!

Summary: We are an older couple who stayed for 7 weeks. This is a beautiful home with every amenity. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. You have 3 decks to choose from. Lubec is an adorable small town which is just across the bridge from Canada. There are hiking trails everywhere and the town is very dog friendly. We spent many days traveling around Canada via the ferry system and going to all the local festivals, museums and restaurants. Most of them involve a drive of at least 45 minutes each way. The scenery is breathtaking. Every evening we would have cocktails watching the sunset and the tide changes. The tidal differences were stunning. We loved watching all the different birds and ducks. Saw a large variety of birds including a bald eagle. You will love it.

Summary: A great deck to watch fireworks on the horizon in Eastport. The screen doors on both sides of the house allowed for a pleasant, cool breeze. A very quiet location...the only thing you will hear is the birds. If you want peace, quiet, solitude, and beachcombing...this is the place.

Summary: The house had an amazing view! It was private, quiet, comfortable and clean. We had plenty of room and enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water. Plenty of things to do for outdoor enthusiasts. It is close to West Quoddy Head State Park which is an amazing hiking area to visit with an iconic lighthouse. Lubec is a quiet, small-town, but offers some great places to dine out if you don't feel like cooking. If you have your passport, you can drive to nearby Campobello Island and tour President FDR's summer "cottage." This a great area to escape tourist congestion and simply chill.
