Positive: Breathe is appropriately named. This unique and beautiful experience in the country is an antidote to the frenetic city life. Mr. JJ is an absolute gem and the food was fantastic at the adjoined cafe. If you get the chance try his cheese cake - the best ever!

Negative: We arrived on a Monday when the cafe is closed. We were not prepared with food for the evening and wandered the country roads looking for a bite. Everything is closed on Monday. Ramen on the deck with the dragonflies served us until morning.

Summary: A unique and wonderful pause in our trip through Southeast Asia. This place is a gift.

Positive: The property is beautiful, amazing views, comfy room, and a perfect little getaway. Be aware the property is rural, so make sure you bring drinks, snacks, etc. with you as the nearest local shop is a 15 min walk away and the location is not staffed.

Negative: In the welcome email, it was stated that breakfast would be at 9 am. We woke early to make sure we didn't miss it as in previous reviews it looked really enjoyable. Unfortunately there was no one around and no breakfast, we did eventually get this sorted around 9:45 but what we received was lacking and a real shame as there is nowhere else locally to grab breakfast (without driving)

Positive: The villa is amazing. The room is spacious for two people and the upstairs room has a big deck if you want space to chill with friends. The bathroom is clean and they provide all the necessary things you might need like shampoo, body wash, towels, mosquito repellent sprays, etc. They provide free breakfast (please check the timing with the hosts for breakfast) to every guest and while checking in they made sure to ask about what I prefer to eat in the morning. Everything they made was just amazing. Great coffee as well! The place is tucked away from the busy city of chiang mai so it's really quiet all the time. You can enjoy peace and obviously the beautiful villa. Try going on a walk around the area a lot of different farms and amazing people nearby. At last, I would just like to add a note for the hosts and the staff for being helpful and considerate. Thankyou!

Negative: I didn't give a 10 rating because it's really challenging to find a taxi on grab/bolt/indriver or even a local taxi from the villa to the main city. I got lucky a few times but one night while coming back from the main city to the villa, I found a bike ride after struggling for 45 minutes. The driver was using translate and told me that it was not fun coming here to the villa from the city. I felt bad for the guy considering he was going to drive back 40 minutes without a passenger. I had to plan my time a lot and I was also spending much more on traveling back and forth from the villa to the main city. The hosts were very sweet and helpful with helping me schedule a ride.They also told me about the bike rental service while checking in that they have at the villa but I don't know how to drive a scooter and there was no option of renting a car. I think if you know how to drive a scooter this is a 10/10 place. Also, make sure to keep a mosquito repellent handy since the villa has a lot of greenery and is located between farms. There are a lot of insects.

Positive: Amazing place nestled in the middle of a rice field. GO there if you want to relax after a busy day exploring around Chiang Mai. The food was also really good, we had one of the most delicious Pad Thai, the coffee was great and the host very kind. You can rent motorbikes there to explore around and go to the city. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice chill place a little outside of the city!
