Positive: Breakwater is ideally located on the sea front and gives an excellent view of the islands Craigleith, and Bass rock. It is also provides easy access to all the local amenities which are within walking distance. The property is very well presented and very clean and comfortable, and has everything you would need during your stay.

Negative: Everything was as advertised, and there was nothing not to like. The only thing that could be improved upon ,was the communication from the agent as I had an email, confirming the booking and stating that the keys were to be picked up from an address on the high street, as an office. On the day of the visit I went to the address as stated , but it was not there, and I was told by the shop next door they had not been there for a while,which was a bit worrying. I didn’t realise I had been sent another email , as I had been travelling all day, and so hadn’t looked at my emails, giving different instructions, this was a bit frustrating, and if I was unable to check my emails again, it would have been a problem.Im sure this can easily be resolved, if you are told beforehand about the situation.

Summary: Excellent well maintained property, highly recommended, we wil definitely stay again.

Positive: The position of the appartment was excellent and it was a good size. Kitchen area could be regarded as small, however. Comfy sofas and beds. Good showers.

Negative: Poor inconsistent wifi,(internet kept breaking down and tv wouldnt work as well as not being able to use our phones) small tv, having to deal with our own rubbish. Poor instructions for heating. Stripping beds. I have already spoken to coast cottages re the above. For booking.com please could you explain why I paid so much more for the week than the weeks before and after ours and why the cottage for the same week next year is a few 100 pounds cheaper with coastal cottages. Thank you

Positive: The location was great, everything was clean, and everything was comfortable. I was appreciative of the directions to turn up the heat because the preset temp was a little too cold for us. We had a couple of special requests and the persons responding were all very nice and helpful.
