Summary: The house was not in a very nice neighborhood and it wasn't clear if it was safe to walk or not, so we drove to a nearby riverwalk when we wanted to take a walk. The host was lovely, but we were very shocked to discover when we walked in that she had 10-12 rescue cats in the house, as they were not on the advertising. There was a cat odor in the house, though not overwhelming. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor and that floor was clean and newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Some rooms share a bathroom. We were a little underwhelmed with the breakfast in the morning, by bed-and-breakfast standards.

Summary: A beautiful property, with good up to date rooms, and lovely host. My big issue was the smell of cat litter. It was pungent, my nose refused to be blind to it. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE animals and love that she rescues cats, but keep you have to stay on top of that. The smell was overwhelming.
