Summary: The property was excellent. Very old inn well maintained, looks almost new. I'd recommend it to all. There is an elevator but is operated by the staff. Old style manual controller.

Summary: The food at the hotel was great. Very friendly staff. Pool was great. Very old. Floors were a bit creaky. The bathroom was okay. The bathtub was very old fashioned. Be careful when getting out. It is dangerous, I almost tripped. Warning the bathtub is very steep. The cold water knob was loose so they had to fix it in the bathtub. That was the only downside. Overall the hotel was a great stay. Very peaceful. Breakfast not the greatest. Go to Mae's place, right outside near the hotel. That place has eggs, bacon, waffle, french toast, pancakes. The good breakfast you want with fresh Vermont pure maple syrup. A few doors down there is a gourmet place where you can get great coffee. There chai latte is great. The pizza is amazing. The food in Vermont is not very salty compared to NYC. I enjoyed my stay for sure and I had stayed an extra day. Would definitely go back. Just wish the bathtub and shower were more modern. Overall the hotel is beautiful and well maintained.

Summary: Beautiful historic inn! We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the pool, the walk ability in the village and the wonderful staff. We did eat dinner at the inn, and that was the only part of our stay that was not the best. I hope that we get back to this part of Vermont, I would love to stay at the inn again.

Summary: I was not prepared (nor expecting) the physical exertion it took me to reach my room. (nobody's fault but mine). I did not pay heed to advance notice that the elevator was manual (and employee operated only). So while I found the elevator to be quant, in the end, the lack of transportation became tiring to me. Being on the top floor, while the A/C for my room worked as intended, the stuffiness in the hallway and stairwell was off-putting as well.

Summary: Brandon VT is not to be missed. A very cute idyllic Vermont downtown with nice coffee shops and places to dine. The inn was historic yet well kept. Customer service was lovely.
