Positive: The lodge was large and very clean, everything provided that we needed, and the thoughtful little extras were very much appreciated. the bbq was fab and the undercover hot tub was a bonus as it was a very rainy weekend. views were beautiful, it was a lovely peaceful location. would definitely visit again.

Negative: beds were uncomfortable where they joined in the middle but it didn't bother us too much.

Positive: This is a beautiful lodge. It was very clean and well looked after, with lovely furnishings and fittings. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need to cook. The surroundings were gorgeous, with good views down over the fields. The hot tub was excellent, well maintained and again very clean. No problems with key collection, and good communication from owners regarding how we wanted the bedrooms set up.

Negative: I found it slightly restrictive that the hot tub couldn't be used after 9pm. I appreciate that neighbours should be respected, but as a quiet family group it would have been nice for the parents to have the option to sit in the hot tub and unwind after a day out. However, this is my only bit of criticism, and doesn't detract from the fact that this is a wonderful place to stay.
