Positive: We had a lovely stay at Braithwaite Hall. The Hall is beautiful with lovely views and the room was comfortable and spacious with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent selection of cooked dishes.

Negative: Everything was great.

Positive: We liked everything about this property. The location, quiet with only the sound of farm animals, the beautiful Hall - absolutely amazing, and a privilege to be able to stay in such a home. The amazing heritage bedroom with wood panelled walls, and 4 poster bed. And our lovely hostess Vicki who was soooo friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and cooked to order.

Positive: Stunning historical building with period interiors. Our bedroom’s panelling dated from 1667 and the room was huge and well equipped. Lovely views and a great breakfast. Vicky made us feel very welcome.

Positive: Braithwaite Hall is a very lovely private estate home dating back to the 17th century, and now a working sheep farm. Located in Coverdale near Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales area, the surroundings are beautiful and quiet, and it's possible to walk out into the countryside right from the end of their lane. Vicki is a welcoming and gracious hostess, and her homemade breakfast was truly wonderful! (I also looked forward to the deliciously fresh small jug of milk delivered to the room each day.) Braithwaite Hall is really worth seeking out. How I would love to return there!

Negative: Everything about our brief two-night stay, and every detail, was exceedingly pleasant. (Including the two friendly dogs, and our brief chat with Charles when he returned on the tractor after his early morning rounds.)
