Positive: spacious secluded lodge, only a short drive from Richmond town. Beautiful bathroom

Negative: Hot tub not covered which wasn’t ideal in the rain. No welcome pack/ milk/ water/ tea or coffee. No dish cloth or tea towel. No oven so food was cooked on hob which took a long time. Stains on bed throw

Positive: The lodge was very clean and tidy. It was well equipped with what we needed, we hadn’t planned to cook, besides breakfast. It was very quiet with good quality furnishings. The bed linen, towels and robes were very good. . The hot tub was well maintained. We didn’t have contact with the hosts as everything was done via email. This was very efficient and suited us.

Negative: The heating was on full blast, as the outside temperature was 29 degrees it took hours to cool down.

Summary: Loved the size and space, ideal for a nice break away.

Positive: Peace and quiet , not too far away from locations to visit . Little pack with amenities a nice touch

Negative: Double shower didn't like both showers on together , pressure dropped on one. Only one ring on the hob would work but we made do. Cobwebs around curtains on front door and light fittings near bed.
