Summary: Excellent location. Less than 10 min walk to the train station. Close to the lake. Old town is lovely with lots of cute shops, restaurants and bars. This side of the water is much nicer to stay as the otherside is the shopping district. Room was comfortable, excellent glazing to the windows stopping all street noise, lovely breakfast terrace.

Summary: The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Upon arrival I was told my room was ready. When I proceeded to the room, I found it unclean with hair all over the bedding and bathroom. I requested reception to come take a look which they did and they had housekeeping replace the blanket and pillows. Housekeeping did not seem happy to do this. The AC is a portable one that is not very strong. I would not stay here again.

Summary: Excellent location in the old town. Very close to numerous restaurants and bars. Also close to the rover and a short walk to the lake. Our bathroom was dated but otherwise the family room was good. Tight with 2 kids, but it’s Europe. The breakfast was very good and the staff pleasant. The AC was a portable machine but worked well. Overall, great stay with no issues.

Summary: This hotel was mostly fine. It was in a great (though sometimes noisy at night) location & convenient to lots of places. The bed was fine and the breakfast was okay. It does say check in is at 3:00 p.m. So when we arrived at about 8:30ish in the morning we weren't super surprised that our room wasn't ready. That was fine. We explained that we'd flown all night and had both had about 3 hours tops of sleep so were just super tired. We went out and explored for awhile and then came back at about 1:30ish p.m. when we were so worn out we just couldn't push ourselves further. The room was still not ready which, again, was understandable. But we explained that we'd go sit in their lounge area and to please let us know when the room was ready. By about 2:40 p.m., I went downstairs because I was so desperately tired I just needed to sleep and my husband had fallen asleep multiple times on their sofa. The woman at the desk then checked & said the room was ready. I got the impression it had been ready for awhile. I get that we were early before check in and that it was not the hotel's fault that we'd taken an overnight flight to get to Zurich from the United States. All of that is true - but no effort was made at all to help with even a slightly earlier check in or remember us at all. I just found this to be really disappointing - all 5 other hotels we stayed in in Europe were super accommodating if we arrived a little earlier than check in due to train/bus times.

Summary: Location was great, hotel front staff were great and the hotel had a nice little courtyard and lobby area for relaxing. Room was spacious and fairly clean, various plugs didn’t work though HOWEVER, the room cleaner clearly helped themselves to our stash of strawberry creme Lindt that we got from the Lindt museum and had a spray of my partners new perfume as they left the lid off. Not bothered about the chocolate or a couple of perfume sprays, but makes you on edge about what else the cleaner has been looking through…

Summary: Our hotel stay could not have been better for our 7 night stay. The hotel itself and our room was very clean. We had a Family Room and it was very spacious by European standards. The library, family room, outdoor courtyard offered an alternative space if we didn’t want to be in our room. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options. This hotel is in the heart of Old Town and a 12 min walk to the Zurich HB main train station. There were many options for restaurants in the area. We did find the beds to be a little hard to sleep on. Overall, this is an excellent hotel. We were sorry to leave and would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Staff were all lovely and happy to help. The beds were very hard, there was no air conditioning (as there is advertised). The rooms were very hot and you couldn’t sleep with the windows open as it was extremely noisy
