Positive: The location was perfect! Very short walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants and the cathedrals and historical sites. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Shower was also great! And TV had a lot of options

Negative: I didn't like the fact we had no shower gel or bath soap and were only provided with hand soap and shampoo. I didn't like that the host was never visible and we were stood outside for a while waiting to be let in. There is also false advertising on the booking.com advert for this hotel as there was not tea and coffee facilities in the room, we had to go down three flights of stairs to a communal room. Also, no bath robes either.

Positive: The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Ghent, very close to everything. It's a unique place that reflects the spirit of the city. We loved our room - it was spacious and cosy. Vincent is an amazing host - very welcoming. It was easy to park the car.

Negative: Be aware that there is no sauna in the room.

Negative: Not entirely clear in the general hotel description that the spa bath is just in a specific room (as it wasn't available on the dates, the "suite with spa bath" didn't appear as a room option so, seeing it in the pictures, we assumed that it was a shared facility). Not a big deal, but I'd recommend to make this more clear

Positive: Nice room and good location. The host is friendly, he even offered us a free gluhwein at his bar on the christmas market. The jacuzzi offers good relaxation!

Negative: The room is quite dark with little natural light, the jacuzzi was a little bit dirty.
