Positive: Location was "out of the way" but also conveniently not far from a main route. Perfectly quiet at night with no disturbances. Interior was new, stylish, very bright and modern. Very comfortable. Shower was excellent and the kitchen was well equipped. Hosts always available to help with any issues.

Negative: Wi-Fi was a little temperamental and took some perseverance .. needed a log in rather then connecting automatically. Refrigerator was a beast and even on lowest setting would freeze any liquid in it. I used the top shelves to keep my milk and eggs (!) from freezing. Some of the bathroom fittings were loose (droopy shower head, baskets and toilet roll holder).

Summary: Very peaceful and pleasant hideaway without the feeling of being totally isolated.

Positive: Fabulous location and view. Sat nav got confused and sent us up a narrowing track, local farmer redirected us. Apparently its easier to find when approaching from the Newport direction. Due to circumstances we were off site a lot and too busy to use the hot tub. We would recommend this location, and would love to visit again in happier and more relaxed circumstances. There are beautiful locations for walking and many dog friendly country pubs nearby that serve food.

Negative: Getting lost on the way here and being given the wrong key code by Sykes Cottages, so had to track down owner for help.

Summary: Our stay at Bottom Lodge helped relieve the grief of a family bereavement

Positive: It’s lovely and clean. Beautiful welcome pack including fresh eggs. The horse,chickens,dogs were so lovely for my 5 year old. The facilities are great, everything that’s needed. Spa clean, well maintained. Nice and big. Friendly hosts.

Negative: Sky light it bunk room woke us early. No wifi connection in bedrooms and signal going in and out on tv. No hairdryer

Summary: Highly recommend for a country get away. Farm stay!

Positive: Nice to have bread milk, eggs and Welsh cakes, tea coffee

Negative: As post code covers such a large area, maybe add what 3 words or Google map link in the joining instructions? No side lights in bedroom, ended up using torch. No coat hanging space, no where to put wet muddy stuff. Dishwasher but no tabs, washing up liquid but only enough for one wash up (why it was all in the dishwasher)
