Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hosts met us at the property with the keys and showed us around, giving us relevant information. They were very helpful and nice. There were a couple small problems that they took care of immediately. The hosts also provided us with good tips on restaurants and sites. The house was big, which is important to us as we're 5 people. It was clean and orderly. We were invited to use anything there, including the beautiful piano. Unfortunately, it was in dire need of a good tuning. Loved, loved, loved the small, private swimming pool. Also loved the covered patio. It was huge, and we were able to make good use of the gas grill and eat outside in the evening. There were also many places to sit outside out of the relentless Italian sun!

Negative: The lack of air conditioning or good fans downstairs is the only thing that kept me from a higher rating. If you don't mind the smothering summer heat, then this is a great place for a family. It was also a bit too expensive. We waited till the last minute to book our vacation, so we took what was left. Had there been other properties for less, I would have chosen differently.

Summary: A lovely big home with every amenity. A bit pricey and uncomfortable during the summer.
