Summary: The only issue was slippery shower floors with no grab bars!

Summary: This hotel is reliable in the sense you know what you’re getting. But you hope to get a little bit more for the very high price point, especially considering this is a Marriott. The front desk staff are very helpful and kind. The texting for your car to be ready is helpful. But the hotel lacks a warmth in the general spaces and the rooms could use some upgrades in terms of towel and sheet quality. The hairdryer needs to be upgraded as well. Disposable slippers and robes should be offered at this price point. The hotel is stuck between wanting to be viewed as mid tier higher end but offers lower mid tier amenities. The breakfast is fairly good but also too expensive for what is being offered. Cold breakfast for $20? Suggestion is to reassess what the hotel is trying to convey and rework some of these things.

Summary: Location was PERFECT for exploring the North End and historical sites! Walking distance to everything! Right on the Long Wharf so easy access to water excursions. The restaurant was delicious and the wait staff friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Lots of eateries in the area. Quincy Marketplace and Faneuil Hall within walking distance. The only negatives were they were building or updating their escalators so a little noisy and the rooms were not very soundproof. Could hear babies crying and people talking. Also didn’t know about a $35 per night resort fee that was added on. To offset the fee they did give you a $20 food credit in their restaurant per day plus coupons for free clam chowder or cannolis in the hotel restaurant. Over all, the pluses FAR outweighed the couple of negatives. Definitely worth staying here!

Summary: The hotel was cleanly and the staff were friendly. The location was also excellent. I did have a few complaints - the bathroom was poorly designed in that there was no place to hang towels after use. The pool which was part of the destination fee was closed one of the days we were there. The parking fee was over $70 a night and was not clearly marked. This was an unpleasant surprise as it was higher than several hotels I’ve stayed at recently.
