Positive: Loved all the extra touches and the milk and biscuits ready for our arrival.

Negative: Was waiting for someone to send us the code to the lock box for keys but couldn't get in touch with anyone. Finally found the code in an envelope on the door but would have been less stressful to have known that's where it was.

Positive: Loved the scenery, waking up to a beautiful view was amazing. Especially the ledge near the tv where you could sit and enjoy the view. The cottage was cosy and felt homily. The fireplace was the right touch to make that feel happen. Beds were very comfortable, we slept like babies.

Negative: Mainly the WiFi.. I think because of the location, the WiFi kept acting funny which made it difficult to connect to YouTube and other apps. So we just watched normal TV. But there were also games available at the cottage, so we played a few of those as well.

Positive: The rooms were great, the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The kitchen was excellent but very cold due to floor tiles, however, we did visit in winter. The place was easy to drive to and parking was great. Very happy to stay here again.

Positive: Good location with a fabulous view. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the maps of local walks provided. Good WiFi.

Negative: Tv wouldn’t connect to BBC iPlayer and no phone connection (BT) but neither was important to us.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here with so many places of interest nearby, not to mention excellent walking opportunities.

Positive: A lovely location. The property was quiet, with gorgeous views from the front patio, and a lovely walk directly from the door up over the hills towards town. The local town of Holmfirth is also full of charm, independent coffee shops, pubs and bakeries. The peak district national park is easily accessible by car and full of stunning hikes and places to visit. The house itself was cosy, clean, and well equipped.

Negative: More private outside space would have been a bonus, but you can't have everything. 😊

Positive: The property was located out of the way, but very close to Holmfirth. Parking was easy and the views from the property gyou an extra lift every morning. It is well insulated, as I traveled with the storms recently, the heating didn't need to be turned up high.
