"Relaxation, comfort, elegance, and ease
After 24 hours in this home, I was telling my friends and family "this place is 100x more beautiful in real life than the already beautiful photos made it look". So much attention to detail in every room. The open-concept kitchen and living area were beautifully appointed, with every utensil, appliance, and piece of cookware I could need. The kitchen was especially impressive with their choice of stovetop/hood, modern cabinetry, and the prep area, as well as a wetbar/coffee station; it allowed for plenty of space without clutter, and its sensible layout made it easy to enjoy a nice meal with friends/family without crowding. The lines and design were clean and modern, and everything felt brand new. The rooms are open and spacious, lots and lots of light and plenty of vantage points for the sunrise as well as the pinks and purples of the evening skies. The home had all the extras (laundry room, television, wifi) I could have needed, and all were smooth and easy to use. The deck is gorgeous with great choices for seating, lounging, and taking in the beauty of the property and the lakeview. The dock is equally inviting, with comfortable seating, a large umbrella for some shade in the midday sun, and a perfect drop-in for the lake which was clear, temperate, and easy. The owners left no detail details out. This home was perfect for my time away, and I'm beyond delighted to have spent my days there. Thank you!"

Summary: This property exceeded our expectations. The owner maintains the house and property meticulously. The house had everything you could possibly need or want and it certainly did not feel like a rental property. We loved the house and the location and the neighbors that we met while walking were friendly and welcoming. The owner gave us great restaurant suggestions and was available to respond to any question that we had. Everything was just perfect!

Summary: This was the perfect place for our family getaway with 6 adults, 2 kids under 4, and 2 dogs. The entire house has spectacular views of the lake. (Even the height of the master bed is perfect so that you see a balanced combination of water, sky, and mountain). From the deck we watched the stars most nights (clear enough to see the Milky Way) and saw both ends of double a rainbows one afternoon. Setting aside, enjoying the meticulous modern design of the house itself was a constant pleasure. The kids enjoyed swimming off the two docks; the adults enjoyed exploring the beautiful neighborhood and nearby vineyards. Phillip was fun and interesting to get know and very responsive (he even dropped off beach towels for us on day 2). The place exceeded our high expectations.

Summary: We loved our time at Philip's home! The house and property are beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. The house is immaculate with everything one would need for a week at the lake. We highly recommend staying at this property.

Summary: This entire trip was perfect. Arriving to the house, Philip greeted us and upon our initial walk through the front door, the view was impeccable. Wow. The house is very modern and an open floor plan. We had a 19-month old and we were not concerned at all of him getting into things - the kitchen cabinets are all push to open so no handles for him to grab into and open. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook many meals. It was nice prepping food and still being in the living room with the family. The added golf cart was clutch as the driveway to and from the dock is a steep one. We mostly spent our time on the amazing deck with a killer view or we were on the dock that had chairs and a table with umbrella. We would recommend bringing your own water shoes for the lake, as well as any kayaks or SUPs as those would be a nice touch to have on hand toys for your stay. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Incredible views from the house, deck, and dock both day and night (stars galore at night!). Phil thought of every detail from the unique house design and high-end finishes to toiletries for renters. Read the review in the VRBO listing as it's more detailed and spot-on.
