Positive: The location was perfect and the view was exquisite. The house had a large yard and extra large shoreline frontage to watch the sunrise. The house was immaculate and well appointed. The owners equipped the house with everything we could possibly need. I highly recommend. When I booked online, I was hoping the cabin (blue house) was decent and clean but when we arrived it far exceeded my expectations and was extremely delighted. We’ll return again - but with more friends. Tons of awesome hiking trails nearby. Lots of great restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. There is a full sized kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher so you could easily cook family meals in the house.

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect.

Summary: Clean, quiet, beautiful scenery.

Positive: Excellent vacation get away. Lots of water, trees and open spaces to play with my dog, relax and enjoy peace & quiet. Two towns within a few miles to enjoy meals, company and shopping for gifts. Ideal.

Negative: Wish I could have spent more time here. Every thing was handy. The staff was almost invisible but just a phone call away.

Summary: Perfect get away for my myself and my dog. I will be back soon.

Positive: The cabin was very clean and spacious. Awesome heating sources (infloor heat and mini split), for the chilly nights. Staff was very nice and resourceful.

Negative: There was nothing that I did not like.

Positive: Beautiful view of the lake. Very private setting, close to Washburn, but not right in town. It’s also very accessible to Bayfield and Ashland.

Negative: I think the only issue we ran into was running out of hot water more quickly than expected. The rustic cabin likely has a smaller water heater, given its age. But other than that, it is a very comfortable accommodation.

Summary: Beautiful view, peaceful surroundings. I would recommend to others.

Negative: All in all nice but overpriced. Missed basic toiletries and a hair dryer - kitchen was well equipped but would have appreciated a basic selection of oil/vinegar, herbs/spices.
