Positive: This was a self-catered apartment.

Negative: I'm probably being petty but, I do not like cockroaches and there were 2 and I freaked out!! I did not mind the little lizards but cockroaches are a different story! There were no bowls to use and no lighter available to light the candles. I did not like the idea of going into another apartment to get the lighter - even though it was not occupied at the time. The transport cost more than I had anticipated and did not think it would cost $40 per day round-trip (as I was travelling solo)

Positive: At first we were hesitant about booking something removed from town but we found quiet and tranquility so refreshing! The villa had a full kitchen with gas range and full sized fridge (make sure to get your groceries before you arrive). The bed was large and comfy and the covered outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the view or taking a dip in the water ( the host kindly provided masks and snorkels for us, too). No A/C in the unit but plenty of fans to keep the air flowing. The host provided excellent information for arrival via water taxi and the tour companies would swing by the villa to pick us up for a day's adventure. Playa Estrella (Starfish beach) is just a few minutes away and my new favorite place!!

Negative: Beautiful place in a remote location. Very peaceful. We loved the place, and we wish we could have stayed longer, but the owner made a mistake in our reservation. We arrived as scheduled, but apparently, they weren't expecting us. In the end, they let us stay 2 nights only, instead of what was originally planned. It was very disappointing.

Positive: Location was exceptional. Cabinas located on top of a fabulous reef.

Negative: Unable to locate property on the island. Phone number listed on website was disconnected. Took over 2 hours of endless calls to finally locate property. Property was occupied upon our arrival. Host had to relocate us for first night. Very little Information available from the host.location only available by boat which should be listed on website. No restaurant or food available around property. Need to do grocery shopping prior to being boat taxied to property. Non functioning bathroom. Had to manually fill the bathroom tank. Shower only had trickling hot water and no cold water. No water pressure. Fans on timer which is an issue while sleeping. No AC. ladder missing from our dock.

Summary: Was a decent stay for the value. Would not stay there again
