Positive: Very quiet, relaxing location. We especially liked the pond and outdoor areas where we saw kingfishers for the first time. The hosts were wonderful and helpful, and pointed us in the right direction for a lovely 45 minute walk from the door. They even put the heating on for us during a cold snap in May!

Negative: Everything was great but could be described as minimalist rather than luxurious. We had all the basics that we needed, however.

Positive: The hosts were amazing , lovely people and very approachable . The location was brilliant and we especially enjoyed the lake and fishing the lake. The room was cosy and the bed was 10/10.

Negative: Only thing was that we wish we had booked for longer , everything was amazing.

Positive: The lodge is just off a main road but once you're through the gates you do not hear any noise from traffic etc. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable, providing everything that we needed for our stay. Peter and Anita were wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay again.
