Perched directly above the Boardman Lake Trail with gorgeous lake views, this spacious, newly constructed, top- floor 2 Bed, 2 Bath condo is a perfect hub for your Traverse City get away! Everything you need. Stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished. Fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 4, kitchen counter seating, and private wrap-around patio with outdoor seating.
The Space:
The elevator takes you to the 3rd floor, where your private condo entrance is just steps away. Inside, the entryway leads to the master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom, as well as a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a second bathroom.
The main living space opens up with natural light streaming through two walls of large windows, showcasing stunning views of the lake and sky. The area features a dining table for four, additional seating at the kitchen island, a TV, and a cozy gas fireplace—plenty of room for everyone to relax. Step easily out onto the patio to enjoy the outdoors.
This penthouse offers 1,350 square feet of living space. TVs are equipped with streaming services only.
**NOTE ABOUT BOARDMAN LAKE: There is public access to this lake for small non-motorized boats only (kayaks, canoes, rowboats, small sailboats) on both ends of the lake. **Swimming in Boardman Lake is not advised.**
Also at the north end there is a community sailing school and the entry to the Boardman River. It that flows through downtown Traverse City and goes into the west arm of Grand Traverse Bay, of Lake Michigan. This makes for a wonderful paddle. Rentals are available at the south end of the lake, on South Airport Road.

The Neighborhood:
The condo building is beside a railway line that operates a few times a month at most. Walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and a community- owned food co-op and grocery store in the neighborhood. It's just a short bike ride or drive downtown to more restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and, of course, the magnificent Grand Traverse bays of Lake Michigan.
The 5+ mile Boardman Lake Loop Trail circles the lake with a series of boardwalks, smooth asphalt - perfect for walking and biking.

A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $69 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $600. Summary: We loved our stay! The place is clean and within walking distance to local attractions. It does get a little buggy since the place is right off the Boardman Lake but the view is amazing though. Highly recommended.

Summary: We called this condo home base for day trips around the area. It was a lovely and peaceful place to land at the end of our very long days! The lake view is wonderful especially when it’s warm enough to enjoy the outdoor deck. The condo is beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable and near lots of conveniences: stores, restaurants and access to downtown. Communication with the property owner is top-notch! Highly recommend!

Summary: We totally loved this condo and location!!! Everything was as we anticipated and even better! We loved walking to TC and the Boardman Lake trail! We enjoyed being on Boardman Lake watching the sailboat and rowing teams practice. Our trip couldn’t have been better! We will be back for sure!!!

Summary: The condo is perfectly located on the Boardman Lake trail, giving you access to downtown and beyond using the TART trails. It is perfect for biking and walking around. We didn’t even move our car for days. The condo is new and has great views. The design is great but there are some craftsmanship issues around the condo (doors don’t close right, vents not screwed in, etc). Also, there are no window treatments in the main room or the bathrooms. We stayed at a discounted summer rate due to construction across the tracks, which made it a great value. Don’t know if we would ever pay summer rates ($500/night).

Summary: Very pleased with our stay. This was our 2nd time at this condo. It is very well stocked with all the amenities you could want. Location is great, close to town, and we love walking on the Boardman Trail.

Summary: This is the second time we've stayed at this property because it's absolutely perfect. There's a beautiful view over the lake, it's the perfect distance from the city where there's zero noise but it's a quick drive to anything you'd want. The place itself is wonderful. The couch is so cozy and perfect for napping and watching movies in front of the fireplace. The balcony is great for having breakfast while looking out over the lake. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen is modern and any time I thought "Oh I wish we had ___" my wife would end up finding one in a cupboard somewhere. I could not be happier with my stay here, and if I'm in the area again I will probably be trying to get this space.

Summary: We just enjoyed 4 nights at the Boardman Penthouse and truly enjoyed our stay. Its located in a quiet and peaceful lakeside location just outside Traverse but with plenty of places to go and see nearby. The condo was well appointed and comfortable with great lighting and an open floor plan. We really enjoyed Traverse and can't wait to go back. We had other family members stay downtown and I think the Boardlab penthouse was superior in every way. We will be back again soon.
