Negative: Poor assistance. Coffee and tea but no milk. We booked for 7 people. Got two single duvets in one room and only two in the other room. We had to put the duvet covers on ourselves. Disappointing. Will not book there again and will not recommend it

Negative: No air conditioning on a very hot week in Heidelberg. Fans were provided which did help. As we were on the ground floor when windows were open the students chattering late at night was a little disturbing.

Positive: The apartment is in a fabulous location. A short walk to the old town and just a little longer to the funicular up to the castle. Really helpful owners had left fans running as the town was experiencing a heatwave. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous stay for a couple of nights. Wished we had stayed longer

Negative: There was nothing to fault it. It was extremely hot at the time so the fridge struggled to keep things cool and there was no air conditioning but it is a very old property and we managed with fans.

Positive: The building is grand, the room spacious, clean and nicely furnished.

Negative: The information on Booking is incorrect, as we requested payment upon arrival and this is not possible. We were not informed that the payment of the room would not immediately release information on how to enter the premises (but only two days ahead of arrival) and this information was withheld pending our decision on the use of the parking. Last, the code to the room only worked as from the time we indicated for our arrival so that when we arrived a few minutes early, we remained locked out. In a nutshell, we experienced more elegance in the building than in the reception from the host.

Positive: The house is located close to the historic center so it is very convenient for tourists. The apartment has a full kitchen, big rooms, washer and dryer in the basement. Everything was spotless, and the rooms were decorated with good taste, the prettiest place we've stayed in so far.

Negative: The parking is not free and we didn't know this beforehand, although the parking is very convenient, just right outside the apartment window.
