Summary: Encountered bug issues in bed and bathtub. Numerous bug bites. Need pest control management as recommended. Do not recommend staying on 1st floor / basement when weather changes from winter to spring (bug infestation).

Summary: Boars Head is beautiful but rooms are very dated. Room was clean and comfy but it was old and dated and the elevator was at the opposite side of building. Staff was awesome but the dated room was very disappointing. Just glad we paid off season price for our stay. In season these rooms are over $500 per night but the rooms at any Marriott or Hilton are way nicer and more up to date. The hotel didnt even have a smart TV! This property is just beautiful but the rooms don't scream 4 or 5 star resort, they are more like 3 star at best.

Summary: Friendly staff, easy parking, great bar and solid restaurant. The fitness center is a short walk away but very large with lots to do including rock climbing. The resort is 10 -15 minutes from anywhere is Charlottesville.
