Positive: The location was out of the way and yet within easy reach of some great places. Absolutely no light pollution at night, wonderful to see the stars so well. The free sourdough loaf was delicious and the hosts recommendations were spot on.

Negative: The view, I was expecting the Sydney Opera House, the hanging gardens of Babylon or at least herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the veldt. No, seriously nothing not to like.

Summary: Great place to get away from it all and unwind.

Positive: Lovely tranquil location with beautiful gardens to relax in. Great hosts who left milk, tea, coffee and wine for us on arrival! Fantastic place to stay with your dog too.

Positive: Everything was exceptional. We received a very warm welcome. Everything felt incredibly cosy and warm. The rooms were beautiful and the hosts were so friendly and attentive. The WiFi is great, bed is comfortable and the the outside offers a variety of seating options. We were very happy.

Positive: House location very calm. Large garden available (shared with others cottages).

Negative: If your are look for warm and cosy, I would not recommand this place. It is a bit rustic, quite warm when sunny, and humid when rainy. Furniture is a bit cheap, and some part of the house would need repair (we did not open some windows because they were so old and damaged that they threatened to fall - quite dangerous if you travel with a child !).

Positive: Lovely, really helpful owners. Good rural location. Clean and quiet overnight. Tea bags, coffee pods, milk and a bottle of wine were in the cottage on arrival. Good WiFi and shower worked well. Lovely towels provided. Plenty of parking space.

Negative: This cottage is a work in progress with a few glitches. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, although this was fixed straight away by Keith. The second bedroom door wouldn’t close either. The kitchen was provided with only one plate, no knives, I had to ask for a saucepan. The ladder for the bunk bed was hanging on by one loose screw. Lorraine and Keith were around and helpful if issues arose.
