Summary: We wanted a place to gather up some of our adult children and grandkids for a weekend away and out of the heat, and this was the perfect place! There was ample parking for our three vehicles, and plenty of places to sleep. The kitchen had what we needed for our simple meals with the option to grill. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the cool weather. The outdoor table and chairs meant we could eat outside or gather inside to play games or sit in the living room to watch a movie. The sunroom was an added bonus place to sit and drink tea in the morning or watch the deer outside at dusk. The lodge was clean and well furnished and very comfortable. It truly is a delightful place to stay, a home away from home!Our host was very timely with answers to questions and in good communication with us. We love Cloudcroft and hope to visit again and hope to make this a yearly family destination!

Summary: From reserving the house all the way to the check out process, it was great! The pictures show the house very well! House was really clean and well taken care of. The neighborhood was quiet and crawling with deer. Short drive into Cloudcroft and a little drive to white sands & Ruidoso. Have already recommended this house to several friends!

Summary: Most of the time it is difficult to get a large family together with everyone, but there are times that you have an opportunity to get together with some of them. This weekend was great spending time with three young adult children, their partners and my brother and his family from Austin. Great location to accommodate all of our needs.
