Positive: Pradeep helped me with the arrangements of the safari, …etc. So the communication was fantastic! Swimming pool is really great, food is also very good! Everything comes from their own garden! It’s a family business and you feel at home. They have just built new rooms, which are very beautiful and modern, with a great view and some with outside bathrooms! I really loved it! It’s 20 min with tuk tuk from Dambulla center, I don’t mind, because it’s calm there , in the middle of nature and still easy to reach the city or plan a hike in Sigiriya or plan an elephant safari!

Positive: The accommodation is in a beautiful area and the hosts take wonderful care of their guests. Pradeep speaks excellent English and has a lot to say about the culture and village life. On the day we arrived, he took us on an evening walk to watch the sunset. On another day, he took us on a tour to show us the farm. The food prepared by his mother was extremely delicious, truly a highlight. Pradeep also gave us tips for excursions and organized everything for us. Also his wife and his little and very cute daughter were always present and it was nice to meet them. Staying at this place was a truly special experience for us. We recommend this accommodation 100%.

Negative: One evening, a fire was lit and there was a lot of smoke because palm branches were being burned. We couldn't sit outside anymore and had to go back to our room, which was a real shame. Pradeep explained to us that this is how fertilizer for the farm is made. Apart from that, everything was really perfect.

Summary: Beautiful place with wonderful hosts and delicious food.

Positive: This place is amazing! Pradeep and his family are so friendly and helpful. The organic farm is very special and the food is next level good. All vegetarian 🌱 This place is perfect to relaxt en just enjoy farm life in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean, with an outside bathroom. Highly recommend a stay here.

Positive: This is by far the BEST place to stay in Sri Lanka. Everything about the people/place was perfect. We named it a perfect slice of paradise. So much so my other half popped the question whilst staying here as he knew no other setting would be as perfect as this.

Positive: Pradeep and his family are excellent hosts. Superb food, rooms are an incredible standard for the price and it was lovely to cool off in the swimming pool after a visit to the nearby cave temples (which are incredible). Pradeep also arranged a safari for us at the nearby Minneriya national park where we saw countless elephants up close. Nothing was too much trouble.

Summary: Excellent hosts, great location, stunning food. All round incredible value.

Positive: We loved the location and the beautiful surroundings, how quiet and peaceful it is. The pool was such a great bonus and was perfect to cool off. The staff were so warm and friendly and the food was some of the best we had on our trip; absolutely delicious and prepared with such care. Our room was really comfortable, big and very clean.

Positive: Blue mountains view is a green oasis in a rural area near Dambulla. It‘s an extraordinary experience to stay here and it was by far the most relaxing, interesting, educational and beautiful place on our whole trip. There are many factors that play into it: The wonderful room with huge windows, a minimalistic asthetic and an outdoor bathroom, the very delicious vegan curries every evening with never before tasted plants like bananaflower, the beautiful surroundings and the newly built swimming pool… Most important though to make this an unforgettable experience are Pradeem and his team. Pradeem has tons of stories and bits of knowledge about rural Sri Lanka that he likes to share, Tissa‘s tour of the garden and many different plants is very interesting. Pradeem - having grown up in this village - has a clear vision of building a place where travellers can learn about the ways of living in rural Sri Lanka and to provide opportunities for the local community.

Positive: This accommodation was the best one we had so far in Sri Lanka. Pradeep created a wonderful place in the middle of a small village. We came because friends recommended it to us and in between their visit and our visit he installed a big, beautiful pool right next to the apartments. We had one of the "old" rooms, but could have changed it to the new ones after the first night, but we really liked our room, it felt like we are in a tree house. We were able to take a look in the new rooms and they looked amazing. The stay exceeded our expectations. We stayed three nights and recommend to stay at least two nights. We also recommend to do all the offered walks to get an insight in the farm life, the culture and to see fireflies :) Thanks again to Pradeep and his team!

Negative: Nothing. Maybe tell the guests in advance that there is a easier way to get to the accommodation. Our uber driver had a short hard time as he took the way Google maps showed him. But anyway, you will find it :)
