Positive: I had the room with the balcony. I was a little nervous as a solo traveller as it had no reviews. The host, José, was amazing. He welcomed me when I arrived and made a lot of effort to make me feel comfortable. He was very passionate about providing a safe space for travellers and gave me a little history about Lisbon and some suggestions for the local area. My room was big with a private bathroom, both of which were clean and maintained to a high standard. Little things like strong water pressure in the shower, plug sockets conveniently located around the room and bathroom, and large balcony windows made my stay even more enjoyable. There is no direct sunlight into the house, so the room stays cool throughout the day and night, even in 27 degrees! The accommodation itself is great. It's a two story house with a room on the ground floor, communal sitting/kitchen area on the 1st floor, and a second room on the 2nd floor. I was on the 2nd floor. The house is very clean and well taken care of. It's also in a great location with supermarkets and a well-connected subway station close by. You can walk to the city centre in just under 30 minutes along the main avenue. The Estádio José Alvalade is 20ish minutes away by subway, as is the bus and train station. There are also great places for breakfast nearby, like Local and SoLo brewing. I'd happily stay here again. Thank you José.

Positive: The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained (it was freshly renovated) with beautiful furniture. The location could not have been better - close to everything I wanted to visit (15 minutes walk to the Rossio square, metro and buses closeby) Special thanks to my Host who was exceptional - attentive, friendly and he answered any questions. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a spotless stay and would happily go back there someday. Thank you Jose!
