Summary: Lean room, large outdoor pool. Parking right outside the room. Modest room but sufficient with microwave and fridge. Decent value, great location for National Seashore beaches.

Summary: Here’s a polished hotel review that keeps it fair and constructive: Overall, the room was satisfactory and the location was excellent. There are a few relatively simple additions that I think would improve the guest experience. An ice bucket in the room would be helpful for getting ice, and larger bath towels would be appreciated. Complimentary bottled water would also be a nice touch, or at minimum, a filtered bottle-filling station somewhere on the property. The mattresses were okay and comfortable enough for a short stay, but I would not consider them luxury quality. For someone who is more sensitive to mattress support, I could see them potentially waking up with some back discomfort. There are also no food options available at the hotel, even for purchase. There is a restaurant nearby, which is convenient, but having at least some basic food, snacks, or grab-and-go items available on the property would be a nice addition. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, with the excellent location being the biggest highlight. With a few additional amenities and upgrades, the property could provide a noticeably better overall experience.

Summary: This was a great hotel for the price!! Clean room, adjustable ac (by degree not just high & low), microwave, mini fridge and small coffee maker. Also there was a small patio in the back, pool, swing set for the kids and can walk over to Laura & Tony’s for breakfast. Great location! Will definitely be staying here again!!

Summary: I travel for work, so I’m used to every type of hotel/motel situation, but for my vacation I like to go somewhere I know won’t be problematic. The Blue Dolphin has always been a solid spot in Wellfleet, and my experience this time backed that sentiment up. Room was clean, property was nice. Only thing that could have been improved was if my AC had been on when I arrived, but I understand not wanting to waste electricity, and it took about 5-10 minutes for my room to cool down. No biggie.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Dolphin Inn. It was very clean, and parking was great. It was a good location; close to theater and restaurants. There was only one issue on a day that it had rained very hard, the water in the bathroom shower and faucet was coming out brown. I went to the office to see why and what they were doing about it because it was a concern. The property manager told me they had a plumbing issue and was corrected. To my surprise it was corrected and no longer an issue.

Summary: We were given a room in the back section of the motel behind the buildings. A very dark and depressing room not like the pictures online. Room needed updating. The pool has chipped plaster and was not inviting. The location of the motel near beaches, the Wellfleet drive in and a breakfast restaurant was the only good part of staying at this motel.

Summary: The hotel is in a great location in the middle of Cape Cod. The room was nice and met our expectations and was a place to stay for our nights. The front desk recommended a whale watching company and we had the best day on the water.
