Surrounded by outstanding mountain views, BBTC provides direct access to 1/3 mile of PRIVATE fly fishing. Additionally, there are miles of public access available just upstream of the property with direct walking access and by driving upstream into Bighorn Sheep Canyon and downstream of the town of Howard on CR 45. Don't fish? No worries, this home provides the perfect jumping off point for your Arkansas River Valley adventures!

~1/3 mile of private Arkansas River access- nightly rate INCLUDES the private river access and there is not an additional “rod fee”.
~Newly remodeled, 1500 square foot home & 490 square foot cottage with queen size bed and full bath

Summary: Overall very happy with the stay and experience. My only complaint is it is posted fly fishing only on the property, which was not very clear in the online description. We like to fish with spinner rods and lures on occasion, which once we got there we learned was not allowed. You can still walk up the canyon and fish public areas so it wasn’t a huge deal.

Summary: Everything about this home and the entire experience renting it was well beyond exceptional. A newly renovated home with top-of the-line furnishing in a beautiful historic river setting made our family Thanksgiving gathering one to remember. Summary: We just stayed four nights at the Blue Bottle Trout Camp and Cottage and we had a wonderful time. The home was immaculate, comfortable and well-stocked. The proximity to the river made it easy to try our hand at fly fishing just a few steps away. It's closer to town than the listing shows - only about a 15-minute drive into Salida. This made it convenient while still being out in the country and away from traffic. The skies were clear and the stargazing was an added plus. Would definitely return. Pinon Management was super-helpful and responsive to our needs and questions too. Highly recommend them as well.

Summary: The home felt very luxurious but still rustic. It had amenities that I would expect at a hotel or resort. My spouse, our 3 kids, my parents and I stayed in the main house. My aunt and uncle stayed in the cabin. Overall perfect for our family. My aunt and uncle could easily join us for meal but still escape the noise from the kids.
